WHO WE ARE

Ten formulas. Nothing else.

The range is ten formulas: eight capsule complexes of 90 capsules, and two sport powders of 30 servings. Each is formulated for a single purpose. That is the entire range.

A single vitamin in a capsule is one nutrient at one dose. A Bio Swiss complex is a formulation: six to nine actives chosen to be taken together — vitamins and minerals in named forms at declared doses, alongside standardised plant extracts specified by their marker compound. Each is printed on the panel as its own row, with its amount, so the formula can be read and compared line by line.

That is why we do not position the range against single vitamins or against the supermarket shelf. The price buys the formulation work, the specified forms and extracts, and release testing on every batch — section 03 sets out that arithmetic.

The products are built for people who treat health as a rational investment rather than a wellness hobby. On the eight capsule complexes, the question we expect you to ask is whether the dose is the one printed, and the panel answers it. On the two powders every active is printed with its amount, so the same test applies.

10

Ten formulas, two prices

Eight capsule complexes: Energy, Calmness, Immunity, Anti-Aging, Brain & Cognitive Boost, Heart & Cardio Boost, Detox & Anti-Hangover, Libido. Each is 90 capsules, which is 30 servings of three. Two sport powders: Sport Energy + Focus and Sport Recovery + Hydration, each a 360 g tub, 30 servings of three scoops.

Capsules: 90 capsules · 30 servings · under £2.70 a day. Powders: 360 g · 30 servings · under £3.40 a serving.
6–9

Six to nine actives in a formula

No formula in the range rests on a single headline ingredient. The smallest formulas in the range carry six actives; the two sport powders carry nine each. One note on how we count: in Brain & Cognitive Boost and Heart & Cardio Boost, three of those rows — GLA, LA and OA — all come from borage oil. Three lines, one oil.

Immunity Complex: vitamin C, zinc, selenium, L-lysine, ginger, turmeric, black pepper — seven actives.
1 line

One line, one number

In the eight capsule complexes there are no proprietary blends. Every active has its own row and its own milligram figure, and where it is an extract, its standardisation. Sport Recovery + Hydration has one grouped row — Electrolytes (sodium + potassium + calcium + magnesium), 400 mg — four minerals under a single number, with no individual forms. It is the one row in the range where several minerals share a single figure, and we state it here rather than leave it to be discovered.

The format: Rhodiola root extract (5% salidroside), 400 mg.
WHAT WE CHOSE

What a complete formula looks like.

We do not name competitors or characterise what anyone else does. These are our own formulation choices, each stated with its dose.

The dose, on the panel

Each active in the eight capsule complexes carries its own figure, so the dose can be assessed before purchase rather than after the jar is finished.

Immunity Complex, per 3-capsule serving: vitamin C 800 mg (1000% NRV) · zinc 20 mg (as zinc glycinate) · selenium 110 µg (as seleno-L-methionine) · L-lysine 600 mg · ginger root extract 100 mg at 20% gingerol · turmeric root extract 500 mg at 95% curcumin · black pepper extract 3 mg at 99% piperine.

Standardised extracts, and three ratio concentrates

A botanical extract means something once you know what it is measured against. Most of ours are standardised to a named marker compound, and that percentage is printed. Three are 20:1 full-spectrum ratio concentrates rather than marker-standardised, and the ratio is printed instead: cissus in Detox & Anti-Hangover, black rice and moringa in Libido.

Turmeric 95% curcumin · boswellia 65% boswellic acid · brahmi 50% bacosides A&B · pine bark 95% OPC · green coffee 50% chlorogenic acid · ashwagandha 5% withanolides · lemon balm (melissa) 10% rosmarinic acid · Angelica sinensis 1% ligustilide · saffron 0.3% safranal. Cissus, black rice and moringa: 20:1 full spectrum.

Chelated and other named mineral forms

Six of the ten formulas contain minerals. In the capsule complexes we fill a chelated or other named form rather than an oxide, sulphate or carbonate. Four carry no mineral rows at all — Brain & Cognitive Boost, Heart & Cardio Boost, Libido and Sport Energy + Focus — so there is no range-wide mineral claim to make here. Sport Recovery's only mineral row is the grouped electrolyte line, and it names no forms.

Magnesium 125 mg (as magnesium glycinate), Calmness · magnesium 82.5 mg (as magnesium L-threonate), Energy · zinc 20 mg (as zinc glycinate) and selenium 110 µg (as seleno-L-methionine), Immunity · iron 28 mg (as iron glycinate) and copper 2 mg (as copper gluconate), Anti-Aging · calcium 240 mg (as calcium glycinate), Detox.

A formula, not one ingredient in a jar

A single-ingredient capsule supplies one variable. A complete formula supplies a set of actives chosen to be taken together, which is harder to specify and harder to test. That is the trade-off we accepted, ten times.

Calmness Complex: magnesium 125 mg (as magnesium glycinate), L-theanine 200 mg, ashwagandha root extract 500 mg at 5% withanolides, lemon balm (melissa) herb extract 500 mg at 10% rosmarinic acid, plus vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) — six actives.

The powders, in figures

The BCAA in both powders is a full 4800 mg a serving. Creatine HCl is 800 mg, HMB and beta-alanine 1600 mg each, all printed. If you already take creatine separately, keep doing that and count the total.

Sport Recovery, per 3-scoop serving: BCAA 2:1:1 4800 mg · L-glutamine 1600 mg · HMB 1600 mg · betaine 800 mg (as betaine HCl) · creatine 800 mg (as creatine HCl) · L-taurine 400 mg · GABA 400 mg · electrolytes 400 mg · reishi extract 400 mg at 30% polysaccharides.

Vegan-friendly, with three exceptions

Seven of the ten carry the Vegan Friendly mark. Brain & Cognitive Boost and Heart & Cardio Boost do not: both contain fish oil. Detox & Anti-Hangover is not described as vegan on this site until the source of its vitamin D3 is confirmed to us as plant-derived. Every capsule shell in the range is plant-based.

Brain & Cognitive Boost: EPA 100 mg from fish oil, DHA 200 mg from algae oil. Heart & Cardio Boost: EPA 200 mg from fish oil, DHA 100 mg from algae oil.
THE PRICE

Why it costs more than a budget jar.

This is the question we are asked most often. What follows is not a cost breakdown and is not presented as one. These are the formulation choices that determine the price, each verifiable against the panel.

The arithmetic
01

The dose is the expensive part

Raw-material cost scales with milligrams. A serving carrying 800 mg of vitamin C costs more to fill than one carrying 80 mg, and no formulation decision changes that. We fill to the dose we consider justified, and then print the figure.

Vitamin C 800 mg at 1000% NRV in both Immunity and Anti-Aging · L-lysine 600 mg · turmeric root extract 500 mg at 95% curcumin · ashwagandha 500 mg · lemon balm (melissa) 500 mg · rhodiola 400 mg · guarana 400 mg · CoQ10 100 mg · BCAA 4800 mg a serving in both powders.
02

Standardised extract, not milled root

A standardised extract is a concentrate assayed to a specified level of its named marker compound. It takes more plant material and an extra analytical step than grinding a root to powder, and it costs several times as much per kilo. Where an extract is marker-standardised, the percentage is on the label. Where it is a 20:1 ratio concentrate, the ratio is.

Turmeric 95% curcumin · black pepper 99% piperine · boswellia 65% boswellic acid · brahmi 50% bacosides A&B · green coffee 50% chlorogenic acid · cordyceps and reishi 30% polysaccharides · gotu kola 20% asiaticosides · ginger 20% gingerol · saffron 0.3% safranal. 03

The form in the brackets, where there are minerals to buy

Chelated and other named mineral forms cost more per gram than oxides, sulphates and carbonates. We made that trade in the six formulas that contain minerals. The other four have no mineral rows, so the argument does not apply to them.

Magnesium 125 mg (as magnesium glycinate) · magnesium 82.5 mg (as magnesium L-threonate) · zinc 20 mg (as zinc glycinate) · selenium 110 µg (as seleno-L-methionine) · iron 28 mg (as iron glycinate) · copper 2 mg (as copper gluconate) · calcium 240 mg (as calcium glycinate).

04

A complete formula costs more to build

Every active is one more specification to agree and one more line to test, plus the compatibility work to make them sit together in a stable capsule or a powder that mixes properly. That work is a real cost and none of it shows on the front of the jar.

Six actives in the smallest formulas. Nine each in Sport Energy + Focus and Sport Recovery + Hydration.
05

90 capsules is a real 30-day supply

Three capsules a day, thirty servings, ninety capsules. Compare per day rather than per jar — it is the only comparison that holds across different jar sizes.

Capsules: 90 · 30 servings of 3. Powders: 360 g · 30 servings of 3 scoops.
06

Testing recurs with every batch

Purity and potency testing is not a one-off cost you amortise over the life of a product. It happens again on each production run, and it is part of why the price does not drift down over time.

Ask us for the Certificate of Analysis on your batch — available on request.

WHERE TO BE CAREFUL

The doses that need a sentence of context.

High doses demand context. The doses themselves are printed on the jars; the intake limits we assess them against are those of EFSA and the NHS. These are the entries to read before you buy.

Detox & Anti-Hangover

Vitamin D3 at 6000 IU

Three capsules give 6000 IU (150 µg). The adult tolerable upper intake level cited by EFSA and the NHS is 4000 IU (100 µg) a day, so the recommended serving is above it on its own, not only if you double up. Take it as a deliberate short-to-medium-term choice rather than a default. It is not designed for open-ended daily use: if you want to take it for longer than one jar, which is 30 days, speak to your doctor first, who can check your vitamin D level. Do not add a second vitamin D supplement on top, and if you are on medication, have a kidney condition or a condition that raises your calcium, or are under medical supervision, speak to your doctor before you start.

Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 6000 IU (150 µg), 3000% NRV.
Detox & Anti-Hangover

Blood thinners

It contains vitamin K2 (MK-7) at 150 µg. Vitamin K works directly against warfarin and other vitamin-K-antagonist blood thinners. If you take one, speak to your doctor before taking this formula.

Vitamin K2 (as menaquinone MK-7) 150 µg, 200% NRV.
Detox & Anti-Hangover

What it contains

What is in it: calcium glycinate with vitamin D3 and K2, boswellia standardised to 65% boswellic acid, cissus 20:1 and hyaluronic acid. It is not a hangover cure, and it is not a reason to drink more. Water, food and sleep are what help after a late night; this formula is not for that.

Calcium 240 mg (as calcium glycinate) · D3 6000 IU (150 µg) · K2 (MK-7) 150 µg · boswellia resin extract 300 mg · cissus 20:1 300 mg · hyaluronic acid 60 mg.
Libido Complex

Vitamin A at 8000 IU

8000 IU (2400 µg) as retinol palmitate — preformed retinol, not beta-carotene. The adult upper intake level for preformed vitamin A is 3000 µg a day, and liver, fortified foods and other supplements all count toward it. Do not stack another vitamin A product on top, and do not exceed three capsules. The NHS advises no more than 1.5 mg (1500 µg) a day in total from food and supplements, and this serving alone is 2400 µg, so if you are post-menopausal or at risk of osteoporosis, speak to your doctor first. Preformed vitamin A is not suitable in pregnancy or if you are trying to conceive.

Vitamin A (retinol palmitate) 8000 IU (2400 µg), 300% NRV.
Calmness Complex

Vitamin B6 at 14 mg

Three capsules give 14 mg of vitamin B6. EFSA gives 12 mg a day as the adult tolerable upper intake level, and the NHS advises no more than 10 mg a day from supplements unless a doctor advises more, so the recommended serving is above both on its own. Energy Complex adds another 3.2 mg, so the two together give 17.2 mg a day. Do not add any other product containing B6, and if you notice tingling, numbness or pins and needles in your hands or feet, stop taking it and speak to your doctor.

Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride): 14 mg in Calmness Complex · 3.2 mg in Energy Complex · 17.2 mg a day when the two are taken together.
Anti-Aging Complex

Iron at 28 mg

The panel reads iron 28 mg (as iron glycinate), 200% of the daily reference intake. That is a high dose, above the 17 mg a day of supplemental iron the NHS says is unlikely to cause harm. Do not take it alongside another iron supplement or a multivitamin containing iron, and if you have haemochromatosis or any iron-overload condition, or a family history of one, speak to your doctor before starting it. Contains iron: keep out of the sight and reach of children, as an overdose can be fatal to a young child.

Iron 28 mg (as iron glycinate), 200% NRV.
Energy Complex

Roughly 80 mg of caffeine

The guarana is 400 mg standardised to 20% caffeine, so a three-capsule serving carries roughly 80 mg — about one cup of coffee. Count it alongside your other caffeine intake, keep it out of the evening, and do not take it on the same day as Sport Energy + Focus, which carries another 200 mg.

Guarana seed extract (20% caffeine) 400 mg — roughly 80 mg of caffeine per serving.
Sport Energy + Focus

200 mg caffeine a serving

Roughly two cups of coffee, as caffeine anhydrous. Not within about six hours of bedtime, and not in addition to other sources of caffeine.

Caffeine 200 mg (as caffeine anhydrous), paired one-to-one with L-theanine 200 mg.
Sport Energy + Focus

The beta-alanine tingle

The light pins-and-needles feeling on the skin is paraesthesia. It is a common, well-documented effect of beta-alanine, generally regarded as harmless, and it usually fades within the hour and as your body gets used to it. If you get numbness, a rash or swelling, or tingling that does not pass after the session, stop taking it and speak to your doctor.

Beta-alanine 1600 mg per serving.
Energy Complex

The niacin flush

The vitamin B3 is a mix of nicotinic acid and niacinamide. Nicotinic acid can cause a short, warm skin flush in some people, most often on an empty stomach. Take the three capsules with food. The label gives the two forms as one combined 36 mg figure. EFSA sets 10 mg a day as the upper level for nicotinic acid taken as a supplement, with a far higher limit for niacinamide; ask us and we will tell you the split for your batch.

Vitamin B3 (nicotinic acid and niacinamide) 36 mg, 225% NRV.
Heart & Cardio Boost

Blood thinners and circulation

It is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you take blood-thinning medication or are under medical supervision, check with your doctor first, since omega-3 and pine bark extract may interact with blood-thinning medication.

EPA 200 mg from fish oil · DHA 100 mg from algae oil · pine bark extract 100 mg at 95% OPC.

FAQ

Straight answers.

A capsule complex is 90 capsules, 30 servings of three, under £2.70 a day. A sport powder is a 360 g tub, 30 servings of three scoops, under £3.40 a serving. The exact price of each is on its product page and at checkout.

Because ten is what we can formulate properly and test on every batch. Each formula carries six to nine actives and covers one job.

It means the extract is assayed to a specified level of a named marker compound, and that level is printed. Turmeric at 95% curcumin. Boswellia at 65% boswellic acid. Rhodiola at 5% salidroside. Three of our botanicals are not marker-standardised but 20:1 full-spectrum ratio concentrates — cissus, black rice and moringa — and the ratio is printed instead.

Yes. The Certificate of Analysis for your batch is available on request. Every label also carries the Made in the EU and Lab Tested marks.

No. Seven of the ten carry the Vegan Friendly mark. Brain & Cognitive Boost and Heart & Cardio Boost contain fish oil, so they are not vegan. Detox & Anti-Hangover is not described as vegan on this site until the source of its vitamin D3 is confirmed to us as plant-derived. Every capsule shell in the range is plant-based.

Yes, with the overlaps in mind. Immunity and Anti-Aging each carry 800 mg of vitamin C and 600 mg of L-lysine. Detox & Anti-Hangover already carries 6000 IU of vitamin D3, so do not add a separate vitamin D on top of it. Anti-Aging carries 28 mg of iron, so do not add a second iron supplement. Energy Complex and Calmness Complex both carry vitamin B6, 3.2 mg and 14 mg, which is 17.2 mg a day together and above the EFSA and NHS lines for B6, so do not add any other product containing B6. Energy Complex carries roughly 80 mg of caffeine from guarana and Sport Energy + Focus carries 200 mg, so do not run those two on the same day.

Energy Complex and Calmness Complex bought together — not a separate product, just the name we give the pair. It is the day-and-night pairing: Energy in the morning, Calmness before bed. Both contain vitamin B6, 17.2 mg a day between them, which is above the EFSA and NHS upper lines for B6, so read the B6 note under Where to be careful before you buy, and do not add another product containing B6. Buy them separately if you prefer — the formulas are the same either way.

No. You buy once, with no card locked on file and nothing to cancel.

A supplement that did not give you the result you hoped for is not, for that reason alone, faulty. If the jar or tub is still sealed and you are within 14 days of delivery, you can return it for any reason, this one included, and return postage is yours. Once it is opened and in use, a refund depends on the product being faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose. Full details are on our Returns & Refunds page.

Made in the EU is printed on every jar and tub, alongside Lab Tested. Every formula is developed by our Swiss team in Valais, Switzerland. Manufacturing is in the EU, which is why the jars say so: Switzerland is not an EU member state. The people behind the formulas bring more than ten years of experience in supplement formulation, research and production. Online orders are sold by BIO SWISS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.
